Don't be judgemental. Especially when you are hearing things from other people about something else or person that you don't know personally or understand.
This kind of comes with old age I think. Older people are more inclined to be judgemental and narrow minded. They love to formulate ideas, mostly bad, about something they here or maybe see for the first time. Most likely, they will adhere with these ideas and spread them like viruses, often doing so with shaking heads and narrow eyes.
See, this is what I mean. I am judging old people to be judgmental. This is wrong but I must do so in order to drive home the point.
Keep in mind personal judgements are not the same as rumors. Though both may end up hurting the subject.
If it's impossible not to judge, remember you are most likely being judged by someone else this very minute.
