We moved houses so there's a lot of junk in our new garage right now. My dad was sorting through some boxes and decided to lay out all our shoes and told us to throw some away. Well, he also said, "You guys have so many shoes, how much money did you waste on shoes?!" Apparently, a lot ... our garage looks more like a garage sale right now because of shoes lined up... I immediately saw my very first pair of chucks! So many memories! I remember getting them back in 2002 or 2001 in New Zealand. I remember slipping on the stairs at a movie theater because it was raining that day and I fell flat on my butt and couldn't walk or sit properly for a whole week. Then I wore these shoes all the way to the U.S in 2003. By then, a little hole had started to form where my big toe sits. Today, the white rubber parts have gone completely yellow... like how old newspaper turns yellow and brown...
Sigh, I knew I had to throw these out today. I kept them for so long in our old cupboard. Today is the day to say goodbye to my first every pair of converse. I wouldn't have thrown them out if my dad wasn't watching. So, I had to take a photo of some of my converses as a memory...
You might think I'm crazy but I really love shoes. I love Converse but I as I grew older, I moved on to less casual ones like flats and heels. So, a shoe lover is always a shoe lover no matter what shoe is out there.
